A Library of Love, Learning, and Remembrance

At LCDS, we were privileged to have an exceptional Kindergarten teacher among us this year, Mrs. Tina Humbert. Her passion for learning, her love of reading, and the joy she brought to her students left a lasting impact on our community. Though she was taken from us far too soon, her spirit continues to inspire us every day.

Following our Kindergarten Earning Your Wings Ceremony, the LCDS Kindergarten classes proudly unveiled a special library dedicated to Mrs. Humbert's memory. This meaningful gift was made possible through the generosity of our Kindergarten families and serves as a tribute to her lifelong love of books and learning.

The dedication was a touching moment shared by students, parents, faculty, and friends who had the privilege of knowing Mrs. Humbert. It was a beautiful reminder of the difference one teacher can make in the lives of so many.

We hope this special library will inspire generations of young readers and learners, just as Mrs. Humbert inspired her students. Each time a child opens a book from its shelves, her legacy of curiosity, kindness, and a love of learning will live on.

Mrs. Humbert will always hold a special place in the heart of our LCDS community.

We inspire our students to become lifelong learners, to think critically and creatively, and to lead with courage, compassion, and character.
