Eagles for Life: Welcoming Back the Class of 2022

On Tuesday, May 26, Loudoun Country Day School proudly welcomed back members of the Class of 2022 and their families for a special Alumni and Parent Reception held in the LCDS Library. The evening was filled with laughter, memories, reconnecting with former teachers, and celebrating the exciting journeys our alumni are now taking across the country.

As part of our “Eagles for Life” tradition, the gathering reminded us that although our students graduated from LCDS in eighth grade, they will always remain an important part of our community. It was wonderful to hear our alumni share stories about their future college plans and goals, as well as the experiences that have shaped them since leaving LCDS.

Members of the Class of 2022 will be heading this fall to colleges and universities across the United States, pursuing a wide variety of academic interests and future careers. From large universities to small liberal arts colleges, our alumni continue to demonstrate the courage, compassion, character, and curiosity that began during their years at LCDS.

The evening also gave current faculty and staff an opportunity to reconnect with students they remember very fondly. Seeing the Class of 2022 together again on campus was a meaningful reminder of the lasting bonds formed at LCDS and the strength of our school community.

We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished so far and cannot wait to see what the future holds for each of them. Once an Eagle, always an Eagle!

Go Eagles!
