LCDS offers a wide variety of academic, athletic, artistic, dramatic, and social activities for students before and after school. These activities are designed to enrich a student’s school day by providing opportunities to explore their interests and develop new skills. LCDS Extended Day is offered to accommodate the work schedules of busy families in two separate sections: PreK and K Extended Day is licensed by the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE), and 1st-8th grade Extended Day is exempt from licensing by the VDOE.
