Student and Parent Orientation / Locker Set Up

Orientation Day: Tuesday, September 8

(Plus locker set up for returning students)

We host Orientation Day for all Preschool, Prekindergarten, Kindergarten, and Grade 6 students, as well as new students in all other grades (Grades 1-5, 7, & 8). Please see more for detailed information.

In the morning, the school will be open only to the student and parent groups listed above. Carpool placards will be available for pickup in the lobby at orientation.

Returning students in Grades 1-8 may bring supplies and set up their lockers with parent supervision from 1-2:30 PM.

Orientation Day At-a-Glance

Preschool

Time: 8:45–10:00 AM
Parking and Drop-Off: Park in the east lot and proceed to the Preschool “back porch.”
Parent Session: Parents should proceed to the MPR.
Pick-Up: Return to the classrooms at 10:00 AM.

Prekindergarten

Time: 8:45–10:00 AM
Parking and Drop-Off: Park in the west lot and proceed to the Early Years Entrance.
Parent Session: Parents should proceed to the MPR.
Pick-Up: Return to the classrooms at 10:00 AM.

Kindergarten

Time: 9:00–10:00 AM
Parking and Drop-Off: Park in the west lot and proceed to the MPR.
Parent Session: Parents will remain in the MPR.
Pick-Up: Return to the classrooms at 10:00 AM.

All Grade 6 Students and New Grade 7 Students

Time: 9:00–10:30 AM
Parking and Drop-Off: Use the Middle School Entrance. Bear right and continue driving around campus.
Parent Session: An optional Meet & Greet and Q&A with Mrs. Gayle will be held in the Library from 9:15–10:30 AM.
Pick-Up: Pick up students at the Middle School Entrance at 10:30 AM.

New Students in Grades 1–5

Time: 10:45–11:45 AM
Parking and Drop-Off: Park in the west lot and proceed to the MPR.
Parent Session: Parents will remain in the MPR.
Pick-Up: Return to the classrooms at 11:45 AM.

Locker Set-Up for All Students

Time: 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Parking: Park in any empty space.
Entrance: Main Entrance
Parent Supervision is Required

Important

Locker Decorating: NO ADHESIVES, STICKERS, or “REMOVABLE” WALLPAPERS. Affix decorations only to the inside of lockers. Only affix decorations with MAGNETS.
Supplies may also be brought on the first regular school day.
Carpool Placards: Available in the lobby
Lemonade stand in lobby: Meet and greet our new Leadership Team Members, including Sydney Cannice-Bouck (Director of Advancement), Dan Lynch (Director of Physical Education and Athletics), and Kim Gayle (Middle School Director)
