Harriet’s Directions (from Leesburg):
To get to Rockland from Leesburg, take Route 15 North from the center of town and travel 3.8 miles to Rockland Lane. Or you can also take the Route 15 bypass 4.4 miles from the Route 7 junction. Either way, after the junction of Route 15 and Route 15 Bypass, you will pass White’s Ferry Road about a mile from that juncture. Rockland is the farm on the right (east) side of Route 15 N after White’s Ferry Rd. After you pass a bunch of White Pines along the right (east) side of the road, heading north on 15, you will see the “Farm Lane” entrance to the property in the middle of those pines. After Farm Lane you will see Rockland Lane, the “U” shaped driveway entrance to Rockland soon after the pines come to an end. (There is a red reflector on the tree before the first entrance of the drive and a bunch of mailboxes at the second entrance of the drive). Turn right onto that driveway, Rockland Lane (either end is fine, but preferably the first, if you’re heading north on 15, to keep an orderly flow for the valet parking). Rockland Lane is the second lane after you pass White’s Ferry Rd. Another point of reference: Rockland is the farm diagonally across Route 15 from Selma. RULES FOR THE SUPERBOARD
The SUPERBOARD puts a spin on the ordinary Silent Auction. Each person completes a Superboard ticket with the item desired, bid and their bid number. The attendant will write down the highest bid number, not the bid amount on the board. If the attendant does not write down your bid number then you are not the highest bidder, so make sure that you write down your highest bit to ensure you win the item.
“202 CHANCES”
For only $100, you will have a chance to win $10,000.00.
Only 202 Chances will be sold. Simply fill out the “202 Chances” card that was included in your invitation with your name, address, telephone number and the number of chances. Return your card with your check payable to LCDS PA or complete the credit card information on your Response card and you will be entered into the drawing to win $10,000.00.
The Lucky Winner will be drawn at the start of the Live Auction. You must be present to win.
If all chances are not sold before the night of the auction, the remaining chances will be available until the end of the Silent Auction. If all chances are not sold by then the cash prize will equal half of all tickets old.
