Tuition is set annually by the Board of Trustees. Tuition and fees for the 2014-2015 academic year are as follows:
LCDS offers a need-based financial assistance program. Those interested in applying need to complete the financial aid process and submit the application through http://sss.nais.org/Pages/default.aspx.
Grants for partial tuition assistance are awarded by Loudoun Country Day School if:
- the student meets the criteria for admission
- family need is demonstrated
- the school has sufficient financial aid funds to allocate
Families applying for financial assistance are required to pay only a $250 enrollment deposit. All families receiving financial assistance are required to participate in the SMART Program (our 10-month payment plan), and enroll in the Tuition Refund Plan (TRP). All financial assistance applications are treated confidentially.
Tuition Refund Plan (Tuition Insurance)
The Tuition Refund Plan is optional except for families participating in the SMART Program or applying for financial assistance. The premium cost will be billed in September. For the 2013-2014 school year, the Tuition Refund Plan cost is 1.9% of the tuition charges.

Extended Care is available for all students for morning care (7:00-8:00 a.m.) and for afternoon care (3:20 M-Th. and 2:20 Friday until 6:00 p.m.) at the rate of $9.00/hr. The prekindergarten extended afternoon program is aso billed at the rate of $9.00/hr. Extended Care will be billed at the end of each month.
