Resource News

I am very excited for the upcoming 2007 – 2008 school year!  It is an honor to be part of the LCDS team and its warm community.  It is a pleasure and rewarding experience to work with your children. 

The Resource Room is for students who need extra academic support in and/or out of the classroom.  Students are also seen in Resource for enrichment in various academic areas.

 

If the classroom teacher feels a student would benefit from resource assistance, he or she will contact the Lower School Director and the resource teacher.  Parents will be notified by the Lower School Director to meet and discuss an Individual Learning Plan for their child.  Please refer to the school handbook for additional details.

 

A monthly email will be sent to update parents on what is being done in the Resource Room and your child’s progress on the activities being covered.

 

I look forward to working with your child and helping them become more successful and confident in the classroom.
