LCDS is a caring community of families and educators genuinely invested in each child’s happiness, growth and success. In this nurturing, inclusive environment, our diverse student body quickly comes to see it as a home away from home and a place to forge lifelong friendships.

Here, new families and visitors are warmly welcomed not just by faculty and staff, but by the students as well. Courteous and confident, LCDS students are noted for holding doors, looking people in the eye and greeting adults with a firm handshake. They respectfully engage people of all ages in conversation and treat each other with kindness and compassion. At the Fall Fun Fair, the Family Camp Out, Veterans Day Celebration, Bingo Night, Gala, Ice Cream Social and other activities, students and their families find a true sense of belonging.

Get Involved

Parents are invited to become active members of the Parents Association, to serve as room reps, committee members and guest speakers. LEARN MORE
