Tuition and Fees
Tuition is set annually by the Board of Trustees. Tuition and fees for the 2015-2016 academic year are as follows:
Tuition Refund Plan (Tuition Insurance)
The Tuition Refund Plan is optional except for families participating in the SMART Program or applying for financial assistance. The premium cost will be billed in September. For the 2015-2016 school year, the Tuition Refund Plan cost is 1.8% of the tuition.
Financial assistance is available to any family in the school who has demonstrated need. Information is available in the Admissions Office. Families applying for financial assistance are required to pay only a $250 enrollment deposit.
Grants for partial tuition assistance are awarded by Loudoun Country Day School if:
- the student meets the criteria for admission
- family need is demonstrated
- the school has sufficient financial aid funds to allocate
Families applying for financial assistance are required to pay only a $250 enrollment deposit. All families receiving financial assistance are required to participate in the SMART Program (10-month payment plan), and enroll in the Tuition Refund Plan (TRP). All financial assistance applications are treated confidentially.
During the 2015-16 school year, we offer bus service from selected centralized locations.

Extended Care is available for preK through eighth-grade students for morning care and afternoon care at the rate of $9.00/hour. Extended Care fees are billed at the end of each month.
